Ode To Pinterest: A Love Letter

My Dearest Pinterest

I have no excuse for resisting you for so long. Only fear. I was scared Pinterest, scared that you would turn out like Google + or Linked In. Just another social media site that I needed to remember the password for.

I am sorry I didn’t have more faith in you. Sorry I didn’t listen to friends who knew how great we could be together. I am sad about all the time we missed.

But we’re together now and let’s think of the happy times to come. All the great ideas we can share. You are just like me Pinterest, full of ideas. I am giddy about what we will find on our adventures today.

In just a few days, you’ve brought me such happiness, my kids too and even my husband. Fairy houses, home organization ideas and chocolate recipes. You have something for everyone Pinterest, you’re such a generous spirit.

With your mobile app I can take you everywhere and with your invitations I can share you with friends. Is there no end to your flexibility?

    >Ha! Can I sign my name to this letter, too? When it comes to Pinterest, resistance is futile.

When I saw you'd joined Pinterest and followed me, I smiled a giddy little smile and thought, "Yep. She'll do well here." ;)

  3. >I'm totally in the "scared to death of Pinterest" camp — but it sounds like I don't have much choice but to, at least, check it out.

  4. Sue Campbell says:

    >I, too, have converted. And I have trimmed my side swept bangs to prove it.

  5. >Oh I love it too. I'll look you up and follow you (although I think I already do)

  6. Jessica Anne says:

    >I'm afraid I'm in the don't get it camp. I need a tutorial or something, maybe a vlog. (I'm nothing if not an enabler.)

  7. MommaKiss says:

    >I love The Pin. It's like my bookmark heaven. total time suck, though.

  8. >Lmao poor MLS!!
I was reluctant to get on board but I must admit its fantastic biz and craft inspiration

  9. >OMG. That does it. I have got to get familiar with Pinterest and get a phone on which I can carry my newest addiction everywhere with me.
